i think he is talking about his truck that he just bought in 2010 and is a 2004 model with what ever miles. you can buy any truck with low mile if you buy them now,

Man, I really want to know the history of this truck. I can't imagine a 6 year old truck with less than 100 miles on it.

Because they believe they'll be able to resell it for a profit.

doubt it. the penalties the dealership would face for that usually FAR outweighs them trying to make a small profit.

Carfax, et al., are shit. Take it to a mechanic and/or body shop, like someone else already said. Then, post what you found out, instead of keeping us in suspense.

Sounds like quite the find! Like everyone else has said, it would definitely be interesting to see what the carfax pulls up on it.

Now let's see some pics of this low mileage rig!:)

I bought a "brand new" 2010 Prerunner DC 2x4 off road that had 385miles on it. The truck was traded between 3 different dealerships. I bought it on 2/26. No problems so far. (knock on wood). Using this, and teh recent Toyota recalls to my advantage, I made the dealership pay for those miles [IMG]. Also got a sweet deal on an extended warranty(about 1/3 the normal price). First estimates, I get 19 mpg. So far, no regrets

I've seen a number of older cars sell with just a hand full of miles. My stepfather bought his mother a 77 Cutlass loaded brand new and we sold the car just a couple years back with 1900 miles on it. She never drove it and it sat in her heated garage for 31 years until she died.

I bought a 70 Chevelle back in 94. I was delivering grocery's for a local mom and pop store I was working at after school. The old lady saw me pull up in a POS and asked if I would be interested in looking at the old car in the garage. She let me have it for $1500. It was a 350/TH350 car with 4800 miles.

My latest toy is an 80 Cutlass that I bought from the 2nd owner with 29K on the car. Deals are still out there.
