While you are at it go ahead and get a whole kit from TC. Can be ordered on Monday, bolted on thurs-fri, and then be in Mexico on Saturday(or Macy's if that's your thing). No hunting Or waiting for parts :anonymous:

So gentleman and everyone else. What wheel spacer do y'all recommend brand/ size. Rear only.
Got Dmz Sua and 16" triples for rear. Was thinking 1.5" spacers. Any thoughts? Anyone have a set to get rid of?

When I wasn't talking to Tim at dmz about my setup that I just ordered, he said they usually use 1.25 or 1.5 spacers and depending on how it gets set up, and bypass layout, they either notch the frame a little or potentially have tire rub on bypasses under articulation. I've got a set of 2" spacers that I am running, and I also happen to have a set of 2" spacers I am trying to sell right now. $50 if you pick em up or $60 shipped. IMG_6447.jpgIMG_6448.jpg

Take a picture of the actual shock. We're looking for where the bypass tubes are located in relationship to the top cap orientation.

Ummm I would definitely recommend hub centric spacers... and while you're at it replace the studs with arp. Most lugs on spacers are pretty soft.

I think I might have some spidertrax 1.25 or 1.5 in the garage but the studs aren't in the best shape.

Regardless of what brand you go with, get hubcentric

Just to clarify. Hub centric do make it easier to put the wheels on. Other than that if you have acorn style lug nuts they are what really centers the wheel and once torqued down are the only thing holding the wheel to the hub / drum regardless of what kind of spacer. Hub-centric spacers are convenient to hang the wheel on something while you torque the lug nuts. Other than that there is no advantage. Still I'm trying to make some hub centric spacers fit my manual hubs for convenience sake.

hey guys, i have a quick question. When you went to long travel, did you replace your stock wheel bearing/ hub assembly. Is this something thats worth doing as I don't see a large market for aftermarket/ upgrades. Let me know what you think and anything you'd recommend!

    A thing or two...
I'm planning on replacing mine when I install my kit, but my trucks 10 yrs old and has 107k+ miles on it. If my truck was newer I probably wouldn't.

There are a couple of members selling front hub assemblies.

I did personally, but I was also at 80k and the passenger side started to leak when I was getting my spindles set up @nj636 helped me out with his pressed in ones. If you are doing it just to do it, depending on mileage it could be a good idea. I believe depending on driving habits they can last anywhere from 60k-150k. Off-roading will obviously accelerate this time line.

That's the correct layout. Depending on how far off the frame your bed cage puts the shocks you should be able to get away with a 1.25"-1.5" spacer. If it was my personal truck I'd notch the frame i case I ever decided to go 3.0's but with a premanufactured bed cage it may not be worth it. It all depends on how tight to the frame the shocks are mounted

I just ordered mine from @BamaToy1997.
But I have almost 190k on my truck. As mine are being sent I started Pressing the old
Ones off and it is a bitch. Took me an hour setting up a jig. (First one caved in) The gold plate was tacked on each face of rr track. Hub was between track. Notches on top for the four bolts on bearing.IMG_1928.jpg

That is a nice feature since they only give one option for tube layout. Really could help you dial things in so they don't rub
