I have an ATO shackle flip kit that I'm probably not going to be able to use.

I can help you out with wiring (re-wiring) stuff if needed. I've got a piece of paper somewhere that says I know all kinds of stuff about electronics. I'm a whiz at ripping apart the dash, too. :dancingbacon:

No worries. Just giving you a hard time. I knew I had posted it, so it was easy to find.

LOL. Yup. Putting it back together too. When I installed my MAPECU3, I had everything but the dashpad and passenger airbag out/off. Only ended up with 1-2 extra screws, but nothing rattles so oh well.

Lol I remembered someone did. I'm looking for something just like that but with the hole big enough to put a padlock through. If I can't find any I'll just swap the ones from my hi-lift mount since that is secured by cables.

It will take a fairly large bolt a regular sized lock or a small padlock to fit a normal sized bolt. My original hi-lift mount setup before I had my shell had the hole through the bolt. I think it's a 1/2" bolt. I got a small padlock that fit it. Basically, it wasn't going to stop anyone determined to steal it, but it kept the honest people honest and deterred the lazy thieves.

You could get a 3/8" or 1/2" cotter pin bolt and drill the hole larger.

All we can do it make it as difficult as possible for thieves. If they really want it, they'll get it. Thankfully one of my neighbors hangs out on the porch all the time and she's packing.

How much weight are you talking on average? For just the trip or daily? I would recommend the dakars medium for all that extra weight with extended shocks, break lines and a u bolt Flip. King, icon or whatever upper tier shocks in front with good UCA and some solid tires like the st maxx. If you got that much coin to drop initially buy once cry once man.

Swaybars basically tie both sides of the suspension together, allowing less body/suspension roll during a turn. We only have them in the front but you will see full size trucks with them also in the rear, helps with towing, as it helps keep suspension from rolling too much to one side if the trailer/load is not tracking perfectly straight due to wind or other factors
