So it helps protect fender, presumably people with these bumpers go off road so the wings are made wider on person...

Today I adjusted my brake pedal to sit closer to the accelerator. It can be adjusted more to be closer to flush, but it will require me to take apart some of the pedal assembly. Then cut a bit off the end of the adjustment rod and put it back together (Not all that complicated but you are working in an tight spot for big hands). I didn't have a cutoff disk on hand. It's also over 100 here so fuck working on shit outside for more than 10 mins. I'm pretty happy where it's at for the time being.

Took a test drive and was in a muuuch more comfortable position both for my knees and my back. I can now scoot the seat foward a bit and my knees don't have to bend at stupid angles to operate the pedals (No more banging my knee on the steering wheel). Additionaly the more foward seating postion allows me to get optimal distance from the steering wheel for proper leverage and reduced straining of my lower back from having to reach for 10 and 2 with the seat further back.

It is simple to do and sooo much better if you are are built like a freak of nature. (I should check to see if the pedal sensor needs adjustment too. I had no issues when I drove it around).

I looked at a manual taco too. Seems like the clutch pedal can be adjusted the same way.

    Accelerator I'm not fucking with.

EDIT: The next day I found the brakes on while not depressing the pedal. I adjusted half of what I did and the problem persisted. It's back to stock for now. Going foward I will just cut the pedal off and weld it into the desired position (or something to that effect).

I had mentioned earlier that I order some sr5 fog light trim panels. Well, they came in today so I installed those along with the new @Baja Designs filler bezels. Little details like this, while very small, make my ocd happy.. here's a few pics.

And if you didn't know that sr5 And TRD trim levels had different dog light surrounds, now you know.

Last pic is the TRD fog light trim. I just think the sr5 trim fits the lines on the truck better

I was actually just wondering about this today. Interesting you make the post. May I ask what one provides over the other one? It probably is a lot. I'm just not seeing it. Less gap? I thought the additional piece from BD was supposed to take care of that. They look good tho.

Regarding the sr5 vs trd plastic fog surround, just a different shape. The BD bezels fill the gap for the fogs themselves but have nothing to do with the plastic trim covers

    Lol..Everyone wants the SR5 stuff.
Toyota's decision for plain black stuff on the base model is actually The most desirable.

Day 3 - I started installing the MLV to the floorboard and back wall after doing all the sound dampening tiles on the floorboard, back wall, and inner and outer skins of the doors. I started adding the closed cell foam to the doors but didn't finish (still have 3 doors left to do) since I got caught up doing the MLV. I also made the first speaker adapter for the front doors to see If it would work before making more. The extra 3/4" the speaker adapters provide is needed with the added depth of the 6.75" Kicker QS667 midwoofers compared to the factory paper speakers with tiny magnets.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
How thick is the mlv? The reason I ask is because on the edge of the carpet at each door is a plastic piece that keeps the carpet at the right height for the door sill trim. If the mlv is under that plastic piece and it's too high, the sill trim won't stay snapped down. I ran into this problem so I just cut SD back 1/2 inch. Just a heads up.
