I have a 2015 Tacoma 2wd Sr5 V6 with 23 k miles . I replaced the rotors and brakes . previous rotors were I believed warped . that's what my mechanic and other buddys told me . I replaced rotors with drill slotted from pep boys and brakes from auto zone gold at 21 k miles . now at 23 k miles its getting bad . any tips or ideas how to solve this ??

I drive like a grandpa and put less than 10 miles a day .

I do have 265 mud terrain tires . would the tires be a factor ?? I rotate the tires every 5k miles . well , actually the tire shop I bought the tires from does it for me and rebalance the tires as well

You need to properly bed them in and there is no such thing as warped rotors

Get rid of the slotted rotors. Go with OEM.

So technically, no, they do not warp. But that is what it is called when the rotors wear unevenly making it "feel" like they are warped.

Yeah that is what I meant but if you bed them in correctly you won't have "warped rotors"

R your pads wearing evenly ? I had a shake in the front when breaking - changed pads and rotors - still there - driver side inside pad worn - not retracting - rebuilt caliper installed - problem solved.

That's what I was thinking. Would seem odd for a caliper to stick in a truck that new, but it's possible.

6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
Lateral runout is caused by excessive heating and cooling, uneven hub mating surfaces, thickness of the rotor is under spec, overtorqued lug nuts and also if some dipshit cut it wrong.
