Ah, the cord is for my Cobra 75WX CB radio and the red light is the charge indicator for a little stubby rechargeable flashlight that my son gave me for Father's Day.

Finally mounted my spare tire to the Konig Countersteer wheel I bought in Feb.

    Zk_fqDwZLs0FqTiUnbPKaoFbHyp6bmpqpc58IksM_73266eb493cd5e0fae1acbda5087233bdbf56b65.jpg

It took this long because the spare tire lock was on backorder at Amazon, but I didn't cancel because the price looked good. When it finally arrived, it was the wrong part. I ordered P/N PT276-35060. Amazon sent me P/N PT276-34071 with an Amazon-created label in front showing PT276-35060.

    Wkmo3lFT0os3WmIXsSH8DqggG7uZ97tqg2CQolcg_545b44fbf7e0da0540c3074dc2f99718eb66f6f1.jpg ulZb8jbu2giCry4x-OFBdFW63y07rwWO8sQ4BZMm_8ebedd84d939e202a0b8f3fda3fd09bc6d2309d7.jpg

PT276-34071 is for the chain winch. PT276-35060 is for the cable winch; it includes a cover for the bottom ferrule to guard against cutting. I ended up buying PT276-35060 at the dealer parts counter for a few dollars less than Amazon...

I repainted the steel plate with five coats of Tremclad Rust black and saturated everything in Fluid Film before putting the spare back on.

Looks great man! I just ordered AllPro expo leafs and a u bolt flip kit with Wheelers super bumps for the rear. I'm about to order my extended rear brake lines. How was it installing the leaf packs?

Went together pretty good considering I had a seasoned veteran @Trident904 and a helping hand @5 Lug Fury . The brake lines are a PITA drop the spare to getter a better approach angle.

Just got back from my test drive after rebuilding my rear drive shaft. First time ever doing anything to the drive shaft. after 280000 miles it was time haha!
    IMG_0029.jpg
After I got it all back together I took a drive up the Thomas mountain truck trail to test it out.

Mandatory poser "my truck can't flex" picture.
    IMG_0033.jpg

Scary moment a few minutes before I took this picture a dirt bike and I got in to a little accident. Was scary as hell, luckily he didn't get hurt too bad and his bike wasn't to bad either. never taking this trail on the weekends again, first and last time for that.

Changed spark plugs, front diff & transfer case oils, and engine oil so far. Next week I plan on get rotors turned and changed all the brake pads/shoes. And possibly might paint the center console and dash around stereo tonight! I will post before and after pics of that for sure.
