@oni06 Wasnt if you who was wondering if the URD 4WD y-pipe would interfere with trans skid?

It doesn't hang down below the crossmembers at all. I don't have a trans skid plate but if the mount from crossmember to crossmember they'll clear the y-pipe easily.IMG_4567.jpg IMG_4565.jpgIMG_4566.jpg

It looks so beautiful... I am gonna have to get one of those. Gotta figure out why my motor keeps hitting 200-210 first though :annoyed:

Is that your coolant temp or oil temp?

Coolant temp, I'm not sure the oil temp as I don't have a sensor for that. The temp stays fine where I live but my last two trips out to the desert it's done this. Gonna make another thread soon, don't want to clog up random threads with my issues

Your engine is gonna go hot out in the desert no matter what. Unless you are doing 60+ the entire time, the coolant/fans can't keep up with the ambient heat and low speed. I had my hood popped up and everything off after every trip out in Pismo because every thing was getting super hot and heat soaked. It's the nature of the beast.

Now if it's doing that as a DD during your commute, yeah that might be an issue

Could always upgrade to a Ron Davis radiator with dual spal fans. I see folks dropping all this cash, might as well more :)

That's roughly my plan. I think I saw a rough price above 1k though. Ugh.

Was doing fine, but now its on the stage 3 tune with the 2.55 pulley, 7th injector, URD headers, URD y-pipe, URD exhaust. Runs great, but the URD exhaust is pretty loud, lol. I have a resonator coming which should tame the sound a little.

Very nice. I've got DT long tubes, 7th injector, and 2.7. Now I'm wondering if I should just go for the 2.55 and be done with it once my new ECU comes in.
