    took me 30ish-40 min too.

cut out the carpet squares real clean, roughed up the plastic liner under the carpet and plastic epoxyed them in place wile still poking the metal pins in the plastic.

    ain't going nowhere

Glad I found this thread. I thought I was hallucinating every time I went to clean the passenger floor mat and it had moved again. I may have to try this out.

Go HUSKY or go home! I replaced my OEM rubber floor mates with HUSKY's from AutoEverything. Paid around $70.00.
Great choice at a great price.

Yeah, mine move too. I'm going Husky instead of installing grommets (but that is a pretty slick fix). The grommets will certainly hold the mat in place, but its still kinda small, and I think snow will be off the mat both in the front and rear, and water will be sitting under the mat through the winter. This is a pretty weak effort from Toyota on these "all-season" mats IMHO.

All I did was bought some 2" wide Velcro strips with sticky backing. I put the harder side of course on the bottom of my weathertech and bam.....no more moving. I added 4 pieces about 3-4" long. Problem solved!

I got the Husky Weatherbeater from AutoEverything; their website said that the Husky X-act Contour was not available for a Tacoma with a manual transmission. I just put the Weatherbeaters in my truck today. The passenger-side mat from Husky is WAAAYY better than the Toyota all-season mat (in my opinion). Not only does it stay put (it doesn't move at all), it is much bigger, and I think it will do a much better job keeping snow & mud from getting under the mat and on the floor/carpet. The driver-side mat is also bigger than the Toyota mat, but the difference isn't as drastic. On the driver-side the Husky mat goes up a little higher behind the clutch, brake, and gas pedals, but it doesn't interfere with the pedals at all. The material of the Husky mats is nice. Its not as soft as the rubber Toyota mats, which is either good or bad - depending on personal preference. The Husky mats do curl a tiny bit on the inside edges - not laying flat against the center thing where the stick shift is located (I forget what that's called). I might try to velcro them down, but its not a big deal.

Huh, you must have bought them on sale. I paid $99 for mine from the same retailer, but the shipping was free.

Can someone post a link to where you're buying these?

I see the part number listed but Googling that part number (3D0.061.795.B41) doesn't yield any good results to purchase. Someone noted Amazon but that part number doesn't come up on Amazon, or even eBay.

This is where I bought mine back in February...

    https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/floor-mat-screws-black/3d0061796b41/

Note that you need to order both parts.. the rings that attach to the mats, and the screw-in part that attaches to the carpet.

This! hook side of velcro should fix the issue. Getting some for my passenger weathertech this weekend.

There is a link to AutoEverything in my previous post. Just go to that site, and use their search bar to find "Husky floor mats".

I was referring to the clips people add to their carpet to keep the OEM mats in place. Thanks though!

I'm not surprised. I had tried that prior to installing the VW OEM anchors. When I tried the velcro, the adhesive "slid" on the mat after only a few days. After that I installed the VW anchors in February and haven't had to touch them since.
