Check engine light went off! guess it was the O2 sensor, maybe I mistakenly thought there was a crack in the header? Ill get a pic up later of what I think is a crack. Not sure if I should still replace the cat either

They ride very well, but if you beat on them for more than about 40 min. at high speed, they get hot and fade. I ran them hot enough so they were too hot to touch with your bare hand - but they didn't blow their seals. I like the digressive valving on them though. I will be upgrading to 2.5s and reservoirs next time. They would be great for DD or low speed trail stuff

Where can I find this clip? Mine recently fell off. 1st pic is passenger front, 2nd pass rear, 3rd drivers front. Wouldn't mind replacing those pieces any ways since it is peeling off. Do you repaint these? Or are they cheap to replace

    Good news!

The cat can be functioning at 94% and trip a code.

Hopefully you want need to replace the header.

Someone had said, maybe you? that a bad or clogged up cat can cause upstream O2 sensors to go bad so I wasn't sure if maybe its just temporarily fixed since its a brand new sensor, but then again a bad cat would be tripping the downstream O2 sensor right? so I guess it should be ok.

Bad cat typically trips the lower, if it is clogged you'll have all sorts if issues from excessive back pressure and the O2 will be the least of your worries

Here is what I think is a crack along the weld on the header:
    DSC07884.jpg
This could be causing the motor to run rich right?

Yes, when mine cracked it was dumping fuel because no ( or very little) exhaust was reaching the sensors. It also killed my cat. Conv.

You can test the before & after exhaust temperatures, and you'll know if the cat is not allowing the exhaust to flow out fast enough. Otherwise, run it and see if the computer spits out another code. The upstream can't take the higher heats when the cat isn't flowing fast enough, that's when it prematurely causes the O2 failure.

That looks like a big hole! How much exhaust is coming out when the truck is running, put your hand or something near it...

Do you have the stainless TRD headers or stock? You might be able to repair it.

Has anyone had good luck welding a header?
