Could just put a floor jack underneath and then measure the height at full droop from the center of hub to the bottom of the fender? My OEM kings settled in an evening...my LT kings took over a month to break in. I wouldn't be surprised if they are already settled.

Ductape the outside of it and bam! I think @TacoCat offered an honest real world solution with some plumbing pipe. I think I have seen some guys with the storm drainage piping that was black in material that actually came out pretty cool. I assume you were joking in previous posts, but there are feasible options if you actually wanted to entertain making your own. At the end of the day, the snorkel is just an extended vertical pipe with a hat at the top. Companies just go through the hassle of making it fit to spec so you don't have to to some degree.

After glancing at the write up, its def worth a shot. Sounds like they used decent material that is likely rugged enough to handle water splashes which is what it helps prevent. I would go for it if a snorkel interested me. Could be worth doing your own review of it to help with TW archives for the long haul?

Well for $120, it can be fun to be the guy to break the mystery. With other guys in this region, I think they have the tools and the know how to do the install so I would def pull the trigger when you get the funds for it.

Hmm, all I have up front is the factory hook attachment that bolts to the passenger side.

yep.... I'd def want to have @Lots2Learn58 and @fatfurious2 there with me since they have done it (on multiple occasions)

so I'm going to put that on the "next big thing to do" list... but right now, I want to hurry up and get this suspension done....

I sold my stock wheels and tires for $300 last night to a guy that wanted to put them on a 4runner... I told him "I dont think a 16" wheel fits a 4Runner (4th gen)" and he was like "oh I checked, they do."

ok bro. thanks for the $300. all sales are final. haha

Does anybody have a toyota emblem that fits the front grille of a 05-11? I am buying a replacement grille for $40 online, and it doesn't come with the emblem. I think the 12+ are a little larger diameter. If you have one and don't want to give it away, I'll toss a few bucks your way for it.
