    Are you familiar w/ diffs? I've never done before so I was planning on taking a a few days off work to slide down to MD to work on it. I miss my S10! My first vehicle was an S10 my dad handed me the keys when I graduate high school and said congratulations you graduated high school by the way it's a 5-speed never drove one before in my life LOL

    I'm not even a little familiar! So hopefully I can put this winch back together when it's all said and done.

    Too many to list.
    I'm trying to figure out how to keep up with @EatSleepTacos but I'm afraid he's left me in the dust :D

    But seriously.. I gotta get my suspension replaced and maybe a nice roof rack like OP's.

    My last accident was on the mass pike a couple of years ago. I had the family in the Subaru..including the dog. Traffic was coming to a crawl and took a peak at my rear view mirror. I thought that person driving behind me was going to hit me.. I ended up rear ending someone. The front end was smashed, totaled and there was a huge windshield indentation from my big coconut. No one was hurt fortunately but the dog didn't talk to me for a week. Scary.

    @EatSleepTacos have
    My first truck was a 94 S10 black short bed 4.3l. I totaled it learning how to drive a manual. My S10 now is a 95 white long bed 5spd

    @fatfurious2 Now I actually am considering your cap, or a contractor cap the same as yours :frusty: I'm just paranoid now with all the shit I want to put on top of my cap if it'll be able to support it.

    Bullshit! That's inspirational! I wanna go on a trail ride w/ TW bad but my truck still needs a few things first before it's trail ready like winch & fire extinguisher, etc. Good for private campsite trails but....

    I've done a whole bunch of wheeling without a winch! And a fire extinguisher was like $20 at Home depot

    Maybe he will let you test it out to see if you like it? What else do you want besides the tent?

    That wouldn't be a bad idea at all. The contractor cap sits a little higher than mine, so I'd want to see how it is being that tall.

    I want an awning, and maybe a DIY solar shower made of PVC which'll weigh around 30-40lbs when full, depending how large I make it.

    EDIT: Plus i really like the windoors.

    Awning doesn't weigh too much!
    @Chux has his cap loaded up and doesn't seem to have any problems. But I get where you are coming from
