The hardware needed is for the external bracing though. Not to be confused with simply installing the bumper, which reused the OEM bolts I believe. Right, @TacoCat?

yea, I dont think I'd ever do something like that.... it looks sketchy to me.... a snorkel is practical / looks good / and relatively inexpensive

let me know if you want some help installing it.... I have these small feminine hands that can fit into the little holes and tighten up the bolts while someone holds it in place. haha

yea I agree.... I really like those braces!

The six oem studs will probably hold the bumper for time being, but i would definitely get the braces on asap. I wouldnt use it as a tow point or even sit on it until its braced. Im not really sure how strong those studs are, and wouldnt trust them for long.

The OEM studs are fine. The price of sheet metal they are attached too, not so much.

Definitely brace it before you winch or tow with it.

    I'd agree with 2 of the 3 :).

We'll see if it works, I can always close up the hole.

No, I'll pull them on Sunday when I get home, my new Kings are waiting.

If you're bored Sunday morning and want to come to Philly we can do a direct swap onto your truck at my shop.

    That they look good.

I can either weld up the hole or screw and seal a patch of metal over it. Given the location I'd probably do the latter.

I was just currious.... I wish I could drive up... my truck wont even by "drivable" this weekend... I still have to cut the rear shocks off, put the Icons on, install the new AAL, and fix the UCAs / castle nuts

not to mention skids, ultragauge, and some other little stuff.

hmm interesting.... I havent met too many people that dont think they look good....

If I hear of someone TW Expressing up to your area, I'll try to get those coilovers from you before our meet up date.... if not, we'll plan for Oct 7th

Fun, sounds about like my travel plans, except after AOAA I have multiple childrens birthday parties....

Want to bring some wheels to AOAA from @Me. Projekt and a set of Icons back down to him?
