Would have gotten a Pelfreybilt fairlead but it came out AFTER I had my Factor 55 fairlead. And now, don't want to mess with what I have. :D

That is the angle of the picture. Since it protrudes past the fender it appears longer, they are flush with the wheel well.

They are designed for the factory flares, it does work with the bushwhackers however. The bumper follows the profile of the factory flare and the bushwhackers it tucks in under a touch.

Anyone know if you need a coupon code for pelfreybilt's Labor Day sale? Or are the prices on their page the sale price?

@Pelfreybilt , will my swingout spindle rust or have other problems if the gate is removed for a while? The bearings/etc will stay greased and inside the gate.

Or should I just cover or keep a thin layer of grease on it?

I had mine off for a while in the northeast salt hell. I just threw a layer of bearing grease on it. Saran/plastic wrapped it. And then taped it up with black duct tape so it blended with the bumper. Looked good as new when I put the gate back on

Also protected it from potentially banging something into it and gouging it or something.

Definitely cover it in grease and maybe something like described above. You will definitely get some rust if you don't

Also have a general fitment question. Is it normal to have some troubles with the locking pin correctly fitting? We had to dremel it out a couple times before it would pop in. Still needs a good whack to open and close.
