I have the Cali Raised version so take this with a grain of salt. I like the amount of light they throw to the sides. And if you angle them out a bit, light will get thrown into the ditches past the front door. The Rigid covers also fit on the CR sideshooters.

I like them so far. Very bright and provide a lot of light on the sides. Waiting on snow to see how the amber cuts the glare!

What brand of fender flares are those? (I'm assuming Bushwacker) Any chance you know how much further they stick out then the stock TRD off-road flares? Thanks..

Asked another guy earlier, but he didn't know. So do you happen to know how much further out your flares are than the factory ones? Thanks.. (approximately will work, I am hoping at least another inch and a quarter)

At 44k miles I got error codes P2440 and P2442, stuck secondary air injection valve. That puts the truck in to "limp mode" which drastically reduces power, so much so that you can barely 'limp' to the mechanic. Fortunately I have a $22 bluetooth BAFX 34t5 OBDII scanner and the $12 Torque app so I could clear the fault codes for a week while I waited for the parts to come it.
I replaced my secondary air injection system as per the thread below.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...m-p2440-and-p2442.480436/page-4#post-16001829

My local stealership wanted about $630 for the parts so I ordered from McGeorge Toyota Parts online and got everything shipped for $450. Below are some side-by-sides of the new/old valves. I did the air pump filter mod which is sooo easy that you all should do it asap.

The stealership would have charged roughly $2,000 to do this repair, so the Tourque app saved me about $1,500!

I also cleaned my air filter and damn I broke the cardinal rule of always doing basic maintenance when you buy a used vehicle because that filter was caaaaked with junk.

Mounted a fire extinguisher using the Drake quick-detach mount. Tucks right in.

    New shoe day.
Cooper ATw 116, went up a size to 75. Got a decent AT3 as a spare thrown in. 1.6 miles in and I'm pleased. Staying home to massage my aching wallet.

I trimmed 3 inches off the stock front mud flaps. Hopefully the truck can now clear speed bumps without the flaps scraping.

Mount them from the aluminum crash bar behind the bumper skin, so they shine thru the lower opening...
