Using the weaker Dana 35 come in 5 x 4.5. I know my brother had 5 x 4.5 on his Ranger before swapping to Dana 44 hubs. The Dana 35s are tiny and know for failing.

That's why I love my 98 to modify - no ABS, 1 cat, no throttle by wire, simple airbag system etc. Not that any of those can be an obstacle for building on their own. I just really like the simplicity since I'm learning for the first time on this truck. Of all the major modded trucks I've seen on here, this one seems to have kept the most factory functions, although there's more even in this thread that I'm sure I'm missing.

Yea I think mine still works if I plugged the switch thing back in, I just removed it when I changed to a qd steering wheel.

On another note if anyone is getting custom axles made for thier floater axles or whatever only talk to Brian at currie if you go thru currie... the other guys there straight suck ass if your trying to do anything custom. I got my front shafts ordered and squared away after being told 5-6 times they won't make shafts for me from other sales reps. Turns out the shafts I want are only like 5/8" longer than the solo kit ones, lol And on that note again Solo motorsports is a badass group of dudes.... super helpful with helping me figure out my LT project

New batch of FJ cruiser bumpers being pulled out of the assembly jig. Much cleaner and much more precise than the original hand cut version.

I think it's just something to do with physics and the fabric of the universe. I've observed in very close proximity that taco shells when stood upright lean one way and fall over. Coincidence? I think not! ;)

    You guys with 4x4
What boots do you guys use for the outter axel boot? OEM or something aftermarket
My passenger side axel is tossing minor amounts of grease again and I can't find a rip but the clamp is as tight as I can get it

I replaced mine with the ones from sdhq. Only problem with tennis you have to buy them as an inner and outer pair so you'll have an inner spare which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
