What are good mt tires

ok so I neeed new tires but I can't afford the BFG's I want since they are charging $1300 what are some other mud terrain tires that are not as expensive but still good tires???? OR where can I get a good deal on tires??

Has anyone seen these Nankang Mudstars anywhere?I found these on ebay for 120 a piece but I personally have never heard of them... are they any good??

 

I love my mud grapplers... but they are pricey

select any tire on the left hand side whether it be A/T or M/T. Should tell you what most people think about them.

 

I'd look in to Super Swamper LTB's there pretty cheap and work good in the sloppy stuff. Road mileage will suck with these though

 

i'd steer clear of those MT tires you posted up. your gonna get what you pay for in an off brand $120 tire.

the hankook dynapro MT tires have a decent rep and a set of four should be about $800

 

i just picked up so definity daskota 285/75/16 m/t at pep boys for $580 installed with road hazzard
so far i love them
they are made by cooper tire co.

Got a set of maxxis bighorns back in October, pretty happy with them overall..good on and off road. Little noisy on the road but not to bad. Paid around 700 for them.

 

I ran those tires on my old '98 4Runner. They were LOUDD and not smooth at all. Tread life sucked. But when they had good tread on them, they performed pretty well.

 

Pep boys if you want a good tire for a reasonable price. I hate Big O tires. Too expensive.

i looked at those dakota mts.. they look nice but they dont make em for my 17' rim... im gona keep looking at that website thanks guys

Manny, Just go to Joe's tire shop in chula Vista. I think Broadway and Main. Hes got great deals and all the name brand tires for less then anyone i Know.

 

I ordered my Toyo Open Country MT's from this same site for $900, they are located in Cerritos I picked them up so no shipping costs..

 

What about the Goodyear DuraTracs

I know there not considered a M/T but there pretty damn aggressive
