What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I wouldn't worry about it. Anytime I've disconnected my battery to do electrical work, my truck does exactly what you just described.

 

Hey man, From the furthest point outward of the bumper to the tip of the light cover is 4 3/4 inches. I would count on at least a 6 inch buffer so you don't ding up your lights. I won't be moving the lights until CSP tells me otherwise. So far so good.

Its a special coating. Its gone the first time you press the brake pedal.

 

Built a mounting plate for a 12 circuit fuse block last weekend. Today I got it installed along with a 40 inch Rough Country X5 light bar, an auxiliary usb charge port and some otrattw switches. Also removed the step bars, no pic.

 

Thanks man. Drilled through the bottom of the case and bolted with 4 carriage bolts.

Take the front edge of the mid skid and put it on top of the front skid, you'll stand less chance of snagging it in the middle if you ever slide it over a rock.

Just did uni filter mod for secondary air pump. 2014 tacoma with 38,000. Had some crap in the foam filter and it was kinda brittle for being foam. As I rubbed the dirt off the foam some of the foam fell off also. Glad I checked. Tried the a/c defrost mod with removing just he green wire from the servo and it made the a/c run all the time so I put it back in there for now. Anyone know if the 2014 needs to have the green wire attached to the pink wire on the servo motor?

 

A while back someone did a dog bed mod to the rear of the ex-cab. Would you be nice enough to post a materials list? We're getting a dog soon...

I've had that happen several times now after disconnecting the batt for more than a half an hour.

 

Happens to me every time I disconnect the battery. Nothing to worry about.

 

Today I changed the downstream o2 sensor, the oil and spark plugs and a new battery .I bought this truck last week . So far I have fixed the ac switch , overhead console display .got wheel speed sensors on the way . Next it will get some new shoes
