    Is this job doable without ramps on a prerunner?

    Also if I buy a torque wrench, can you install the fumoto valve with a socket or do I need some sort of extension/adapter?

    As long as you aren't shaped like a beach ball, you should fit. I do mine without ramps. You'll need a crowsfoot wrench to torque it.

    I'm 6'1 180 and I change mine without ramps and have plenty of room to spare.

    No clue on the fumoto valve. It's so easy without.. plus I'd always be worried it would accidentally drain itself. Not sure if that ever happens, but not something I'm willing to risk myself.

    I've had one on my truck 8 years now.... never had an issue. Lever is spring loaded, and locks in place.

    It also has a plastic safety clamp that snaps on and prevents it from accidentally draining.
