Joking aside, we had some border patrol guys looking to get lunch at a local pizza place near the office. Soon as they walked in, the kitchen staff disappeared out the back of the place.

Nevermind @Me. Projekt I found it. If you wanted portable lights like that, you would need a different socket. The bed is 120v AC and those are 12v DC. HOWEVER, you could put a waterproof adapter anywhere you wanted, kinda like a winch plug, just obviously smaller.

Plugging the lights into the bed outlet doesn't make any sense. The lights are DC, so to use the bed outlet, you would be taking DC from the battery converting it to AC and then converting it back to DC to run the pods. Both conversion are inefficient, so you would end up drawing more power from the battery to run the lights than if you just hooked them straight to the battery. You'd be better off running wiring from the battery and installing a 12V socket in the bed.

 

I second this. Some 12 or 14 guage wire would be sufficient to run anything that's meant to run off of a cigarette lighter, and a 25' roll can be bought for less than $10 on Amazon. It's very easy to run it to the bed.

That's an easy fix just install the blue sea outlet panel or one off Amazon in the cubby.
