    Back home! What a ride. Phoenix to Safford, then Morenci (listening to my dad's "war stories" of the miner strike back in 82-83), took the Devil's Highway to Alpine. Great food and cold beer at the Bear Wallow Cafe! This morning the rain stopped early, so we headed up to Showlow and then home via Salt River Canyon. The weather was awesome, until Globe, then it started getting hot. Then rush hour traffic.

    Rode with my dad and one of my uncles. Uncle had a Harley, he took all the curves slow, we spent a few minutes here and there waiting for him to catch up. Saw deer and a bear on the rode, and the leaves have started turning colors. So beautiful. In all my years living in AZ, this was my first time on most of these roads.
