Hey AZTW peeps, I'm finally moving out of my short term lease and into something semi-permanent out here in the valley! I have an unfurnished townhome out in Tempe now- especially happy about the fact that I can keep my truck in a garage again!:headbang:

So, here's the thing though. This is my living room right now:

Being out of work for longer than I expected kinda busted my balls on the whole furniture budget front. Don't worry- I've still got the money to cover the basics. I've got a bed to sleep in and plates to eat off of, so don't fret thinking I'll be laying on cardboard boxes and using fast food bags for plates. I simply need to pinch a lot of pennies here and get some furniture on a pretty tight budget.

Hand me downs, while certainly incredibly appreciated if you can swing it, are not the reason I made this thread. I'm not posting to beg for free shit from anyone, I'm looking for coupons, leads on used stuff in good condition, leads on upcoming retail sales, or if you have something you've been thinking about selling, anything like that.

I'm looking for the standard sort of home stuff:
    Bar Stools
    Coffee Table
    TV Stand
a smallish sofa of some sort (2-3 cushion size)
a lamp or two (floor or otherwise)
a round table for the dining area
    An area rug
    Desk chairs/office chairs
    Nightstands
Storage shelves (indoors or garage type)
    Maybe a mini fridge

Preferably in good shape or needing minimal TLC.

Also, I will have the last of my Yuenglings in the fridge so if you wanna stop by once I'm moved in, FREE BEER!

(If you have anything neat like Toyota garage signs or promotional posters or something, let me know too!)

Good idea for a cheep coffee table

    A) check IKEA. Thay have some for like $50 iirc.

    B) IKEA sells these little side tables for $7. Buy a couple and just put them next to each other. That's what I did for a little while while I waited to finish building my coffee table. It worked fine. They are super cheap so I wouldn't sit on them or anything, but none the less it worked.

Honestly you can probably get everything but the couch at IKEA for $200 to $300. Not the best quality but if you are easy on your furniture it will last you a couple years.

IKEA seems to really be hit or miss, it's either pretty well made, or a particle board pile of shite.

I'm definitely going to get myself a set of those poang chairs because those things are baller and they last forever. That's $200 right there though, 99 a pop.

I wonder if one of those wire spool dining tables would be cool... I'd imagine you'd have to put a lot of work into 'em to make em flat and true for eating on.

    Like a glove baby!

Swept it out, measured it, I still have to fit my roomate's Ford Fiesta in here with me so not a lot of extra space.
