A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I was thinking you'd end up with a large line once they're all tied in. Might be easier to create a small plate steel bracket in the engine bay so three or four breathers could be mounted dress-right-dress.

My worries exactly. I think I will make a different version of this mod and post it up later.

One with all independent breathers run to the same location and fixed to a mount plate that has a cover on it. I'll try

Here's the breather I built. I'll install everything once the liquid gasket sets up.

Here's a question. Has anyone tested the breather on the tansfer case and transmission to see if it's actually a one-way valve? I'm in the middle of my breather relocation and put the new line in for the transfer/transmission last night. I checked to see if the oem valve was still working properly and discovered that it was a two-way valve. It looks just like the valve on the rear diff, except that there isn't a ball bearing in it.

So is this a bad part, or is it intended to be an open line?

Not sure if this has already been covered, but original post was an FJ Cruiser and the rear e-locker breather on the Tacoma appears to be going into the cross beam above the rear differential - and from there I can't tell if it ends inside that cross beam, or if it goes into a plastic box directly above that cross beam - I can't tell what that plastic box is for.

Anyway, for the Tacoma, I suspect the e-locker location is probably high enough for most people - someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.

    Great writeup by OP!!

edit: whoops, I read through the earlier posts - people already discussed - the e-locker breather goes into the cross-beam above the differential and probably doesn't need to be extended for most people.

    I've got a question.
I'm planning on doing mojave Rd in a few weeks. I understand there is a deep water crossing there. I've never done a deep water crossing before, and probably won't be doing many more in the future. Do you guys think this is a nesessary mod for just 1 or 2 crossings? Will I be ok if I don't do this?

If you go without you will want to change your Diff, T-case x2, and possibly tranny fluid to make sure there is no water in them.

Are the 15's any higher on the TRD-Sport's AT and TC? I'm already doing the rear diff relocate, just wondering if I need to buy stuff for the rest of it, now that I know they have breathers too. I want this thing to last forever, get beat on, and not have any non-wear issues.

I paid for the arb 4 port manifold and ran ALL breathers up to just under the hood on the fire wall. Breathers include 4x4 front axle disconnect, front diff, transmission, transfer case, 4wd shift motor, gas tank, and rear axle, and rear axle locker.
