I'll check it out man, thanks for the information. Defiantly have to read up. And it's also a 3.4 so I'll be good with that. Just trying to figure out if I can use the damn tranny or not on this 4Runner lol.

I believe there is some misinformation regarding the pictures posted. The electronic throttle will still have a cable on it that is connected to the gas pedal. This is for limp mode as well as working with the stepper motor that controls the butterfly valve in the throttle body.

It's pretty obvious if it's electronically actuated. You'll see a bunch of electrical connectors. The vacuum actuated diffs. only had one or two connectors used for sensors. You'll also see ports for vacuum lines. Trust me you'll know it when you see it.

The big parts like the transmission came from a wrecking yard in Reno Nevada called NNAWG Reno Airport. They have TONS of tacomas there. Full service too they loaded it all in my truck.

All the other parts came from members on here like @mechanicjon and @SCRunner12 and some other people. Some parts came off eBay. Just start collecting parts and you'll have everything in no time. It took me about six months to collect everything.

Now I just have to find time to do it...

    Bone stock. Pls mod me.
I started working on my DIY sleeping platform. Cutting down a bedframe as the base and discovered that I need more hacksaw blades. Or a Sawzall.

In addition, I pulled the rear seats in the interest of planning for my expedition build. Looking into replacing the rear seats with a locked container and/or some form of modular storage after I get the sleeper done.

It needs a new coat of paint but I think I'll stick with black or grey. The tent is green though which is fun.

Oh cool. The green is pretty rare I think. Mine needs some TLC but nothing drastic. Not gonna bother though until I get to try it.
