i would not use this kit for a 6lug unless it was a reg cab.....putting this kit on a double cab is just to much for the 2.0 shocks ....even though it two shocks its still 2.0s ...i think they wrk great with the minis because the minis weigh wayyyy less ....IMO

i hear ya, from what i hear TC is working on a similar type kit for the 6 lugs and prob will be able to fit 2.5" shocks. i would assume they will makes 2.5's work because you have a good point about the weight differences

    FYI:

I called TC about this before I had my bedcage made. They told me that 2 2.0 shocks would be comparable to if not better than a single 2.5 shock. I'm going to call Sonny @ Downsouth and see what he says.

Ok cool. As long as the placement is as spec'ed by the guys at TC you'll be fine. Just making sure as I didn't want to see any TW members getting their shiat torn up from something preventable.

    yea that seems right 1 2.0 smooth body + 1 2.0 (3) bypass= 1 2.5 16 ?? smooth or bypass?

with i double cab i would do 2.5 16 3 bypass or 3.0 would be best

    thanks !
