Time for some SCUBA! Just a reef dive today with the wife, then the Cenotes on Friday, some Mayan ruins tomorrow and Coba (the only climbable ruin and the tallest at 135’) on Saturday.
Gonna be gnarly to see where the Shaman would rip the beating hearts from captured enemies and afterward decapitate them then throw their heads down the long stairway!
I wouldn’t want to be one of those guys! Can you imagine being in line waiting for your turn, talk about a bad day!!!!

Relax! You are on vacation! I am happy for you!
I appreciate you fitting me in on such short notice last week and stuff just happens. You worked on my truck from 4 pm to 7:30 at night and your repair worked! That it was just a loose fitting on the tube was a relief!! You will continue to be my prime mechanic and your ultra fair prices and friendship cover the added cost I paid to the guy in Oceanside. DON'T SWEAT IT! HAVE FUN NOW!!!

Thanks David! I’m glad it was just a simple loose line. I owe you for what the other guy did, you have a credit on your account, haha.
Just got back from diving having a great time down here! I need to fatten up a bit in order to be better insulated from the water and it’s 84 degrees, still got cold in a 2mil shorty, sheesh!
    The Cenotes are about 71degrees, I’ll probably wear a 7mil with a hoody:angrygirl:

Got the shocks at DownSouth for an awesome price of $95 a piece. Took your suggestion and had them installed today at Courtney Tires with the 2.5 setting. Dan only charged me $149 for the install and alignment. Really appreciate the input and suggestions. Truck looks and rides great.

Also, my GF @Dessertjunkie858 has entered an online singing contest for the chance to win a recorded EP. I've been trying to get her to play more so this is a big step! The more "thumbs up" she gets the better. Please check out her video and vote!

I don't type fast enough! Plus, you would have to let me test your products in Baja frequently! ;)

Right now, I've been doing a warehouse job just to get some income. My right ankle is killing me though because of an old ankle break I had back around 2006. So, anyways, I've been doing that for 2wks now.

This coming Monday, I'm working for a diving company and assisting the Sr. Engineers develop new comm products. But, I'm also to support the techs that test the products before it goes into actual "production". So, pre-production testing. I am, more or less, the interface between the electronics techs and the engineers.

San Diego, being next door to Baja California, where many of our Tacomas are made and where the TRD idea was developed by our very own Ivan Stewart (photo below), should be a place of great interest to Tacoma drivers! See my 7 trip reports in 2017 here, that covers most of the fun areas of the 1,000 mile (road) long Baja Peninsula. I have one more trip to wrap up the research needed for the future guidebook.

So me and the wife dove in Dos Ojos Cenotes!

This is an inland dive site belonging to one of the largest underground submerged cave systems (Cenotes) on the planet. This one is named Dos Ojos (2 Eyes) due to the 2 large entry/exit points that are in close proximity to one another.

It’s a mainly freshwater cave system becoming brackish (salt and fresh mix) on its way out to the ocean, however depending on tides and elevation some are saltwater. The ones we dove today were freshwater. Which being of a lower specific gravity required much less weight than salt water diving (I used 0 lbs, haha)
