Tail as turn

Has anyone done this mod to there tacoma? It's like the 4Runner mod plug and play when in reverse your signal turns on as well.

Toyodrew I know they made it work on the 16-17 for me I’m trying to see if it works on my 2015 I spoke with one of the guy from diodedyamics and all they said to me was to figure out the wires and that all I got cause they don’t have a wire diagram. What I really wanted to do with these was to hook it up to my signals and reverse, so if I signal my reverse comes on as well vise versa if I put it on reverse my signal comes on as a reverse as well

 

Are you wanting to make to top AND bottom part of the light be BOTH turn signal, and then BOTH reverse?

 

I did it on my old Tacoma and ran dual reverse lights

 

Where's the other reverse?(I see an amber up top)
I'm doing that on some 2nd gen Tail right now, double switchbacks top and bottom.

Although functional, not ideal soldering directly to the bulb. I designed a coupler to lock into the top bucket (where the OEM socket goes) and allows a switchback to plug and play.. let me know if you want a pair

 

So you made a socket that goes in the turnsignal bucket that has 4 contacts? If so, I'm impressed. Lets see a pic.

 

Yes I did. A socket adapter that will convert to a 7443 plug so you can use a switch back. I'll get a pic

That’s what I’m attempting to do but I guess some how the diodedynamics module won’t make it work still have the module it’s the next mod on the to do list

 

So for the 2015 tacoma what would I need to make this work lmk
