Check your throttle body and make sure it is not overly dirty. An overly canonized throttle body will cause some weird drivability issues.

Make sure there are no other vacuum leaks on the blower and that you didn't knock out any hoses. A mod as simple as an increase in vacuum and boost in all circumstances will not cause those issues. Unless a hose is off or a connector is making poor cantact. Mass Airflow Meter messing up perhaps?

If all is well ground your throttle body. Run a grounding strap from a bolt which connects from the throttle body to a bolt on the valve cover.

No two cars handle mods the same Grant.

No problem man! Just here to help folks in any which way I can as long as they keep open minds about it and are willing to accept truths that they have been told are not.

Let me rephrase my earlier statement,

I say the ucon is reliable because I know I will be able to get from a to b

Doesnt mean it doesnt have its problems

They need a better shift logic update. It is too bad you cannot shorten the shift points or make them shift at different part throttle points like you can with GM and Ford. Nissan (as much as I despise their crap ass cars) has EXCELLENT transmission shift logic programs in their cars. They change at your whim without ever touching the shifter and there is no delay in doing so.

Of course the only saving grace our A5 has is their ability to be manually shifted throughout all 5 gears. It wakes the logic up and keeps it functioning better when it senses your input. I just drive mine like it is a manual. It is a night and day difference over leaving it in D.

What it really seems to come down to is that the data the ECU wants to receive is pretty much baked when it comes to the stock ECU flash and so the UCON sends what the ECU wants to see.

With the TRD Flash and BullyDog Flash its still a bit of a mystery what they are expecting to see and that is causing problems that are lowering potential power and also causing CEL.

I tried the Kool-aid once... ONCE. That was all it took to figure out that that same Kool-aid would give me diabeetus if I drank it enough.

Cant say i go thru many selections, but ive never had an auto left in D, unless on the highway at speed. It just never made sense to me.
Maybe its from learning on a manual and owning those the longest.
