So my dealer just told me that stock TPMS from OEM tire/wheel can't be installed in 17" pro wheels....truth or bullcrap? I suspect bullcrap. Oh, I searched threads for this...either I'm blind, senile, or both...

I have the 17" Pro 4runner wheels with the TPMS from my OEM wheels and they work like normal.

I believe my dealership charged me $25 a wheel to remove the TPMS from the OEMs and install them in the Pros.

I just took these off and put on 4runner pro wheels. Sensor swapped over fine. Like mentioned above, if you don' have steel wheels, you should be good to go.
