Mobile Phone Holder

Would like to see what some people are using for a mobile phone holder? This hasn’t been a big deal to me in past but I’m traveling with my new job all over and using GPS more than ever. Would like phone somewhere other than everywhere!

I just bought this mount the other day as my previous one snapped while on a 3k mile trip down PCH. So far no complaints, had great reviews on Amazon and fits my iPhone 6s Plus.

I got around to this earlier last month.

 

No works great. Got it after my buddy got one. Very solid. You place a thin piece of metal between the phone and case. Then the holder is a magnet and wham.

 

Maybe I'm too old, but I remember the days when magnets and electronics were like toddlers and glue, you didn't even want them in the same room.

What changed so that now we can use a super magnet direct to our phones?

Also check out BirdDawg Industries, they make a mirror riser with Ram mount and a product called the tech deck both are top notch.

 

I bought an adjustable holder that fits onto the A/C vent. Got it at Walmart for $15, works perfect...the only time it's a nuisance is when it's 95 degrees outside and I need all the air flow I can get to cool off the inside of the truck which is not very often.

I have this. It's amazing. It's probably one of the best, and least expensive, additions I've done to my truck.

 

I've used proclipusa.com for years... they've got vehicle-specific mounts and device-specific holders...
Panavise is another option I can vouch for... pretty solid mount I've been running in my Tacoma almost since I bought it new. Custom mounted my Otterbox belt clip to the Panavise mount and it holds my iPhone perfectly!

I’ve seen this one. Went to order but couldn’t get order to go through. Also, thought I️ saw he stopped making them. That could have been incorrect info.

 

I’ll throw another question out to everyone. What about a map light? My cup holder area is super dark. Other cars/SUV’s have had some type of light illuminating it. Any thoughts?
