Sorry if this has been asked but does anyone have any good options for a somewhat small bed toolbox? I've got a 6ft bed and would like to still have a bit of room to utilize

Thinkware front/rear dashcams, FreshMexicanTaco's DMM, Meso's dome/map LEDs & Flipfob, Swingcase on driver side. Accumulator Delete Mod (ADM). Two-wheel drive Low Range Mod (2LM). Overland Tailor Tune (OTT) 7.0. Extra juicy oil spill on the bed mat.
I installed a driver-side Swing-case and it is extremely useful. It's only downside is that it is not strong enough to withstand the extreme stresses from pitching and rolling during offroad activity. But now I just unlatch and store it elsewhere in the bed if I do any serious offroading.

I have two Rigid tool boxes, one for my air compressor and 1 gallon tank and the other for tools!

    Ditto on the UWS TBS-63-A-LP-BLK
Had pretty much the same box on my last truck only with the square sides, way more room than the angled bottom one sadly.
Only problem I've had is after 8 months or so the two striker pins that go into the latch mechanism have started to wear out causing the lid to not close properly without slamming it. Rotating them seemed to fix it for now, prolly track down replacement ones next year.
Other than that it's a great box, got LEDs wired into the lid and everything. :D

Thanks all for the help. I'd like to get the traditional boxes like most of you have but I'm afraid adding a bed rack might complicate things. And the kbvoodoo drawers might be too small. I'll have to assess what I'd be putting in.

I'm trying to decide on a new toolbox as well, but would like to see the different options that people are using. Is there not a 3rd gen "show off your toolbox" thread? lol

That chest I posted above comes out at 32 in x 19 in x18.2 in. I may try using that, and run some bar stock underneath through the feet. From there I could weld up a bracket to attach to the side rails. I think I can make it so I can put a Softopper on and still have a toolbox on the truck.

These toolboxes are ridiculously expensive. They look great but why are they so expensive?

The box on my first gen is 12 years old and still works perfectly, has gas shocks for the lid, does not leak and will it will easily outlast the truck.

I like the angled so I can still access the tie points up front of the bed. If you have a short bed you'll need angled to clear the wheel wells.

The black paint has faded but not chipped or cracked living everyday outside for 12 years.

Lid is solid and insulated, so strong I bolted thee bike mounts to it to haul my bikes.

    20160724_094535.jpg

It's double wall insulated and an inch thick so plenty stable.

20160312_114117.jpg You want cheap then go cheap. You want a good recommendation go with UWS.

I picked mine up on Amazon for less than 400 with Prime I had free shipping.
