Another thing to think of, check where the mass air flow sensor will be in relation to the crankcase vent intake. It will be upstream of the MAF sensor and can potentially foul it if you put a port in the metal tube in your pictures.

You may be able to find a silicone coupler with a port in it and put it after the MAF tube you have.

    http://www.siliconeintakes.com/holset-turbocharger/-p-500.html

You may be able to find something like that above, its just a 1/2" port in a tube. That may be all you need though, I can't remember the size, it's close though!

I was actually looking at similar fittings, and after how you explained how the system is supposed to work I knew the inlet had to be south of the MAF for the fouking reason, just like how people get issues with the fouled MAF from oiled air filters. :tinfoilhat:

I was thinking about tapping it directly behind the MAF sensor so that the flow wouldn't be interrupted anymore. Than it already is by the MAF stalk itself. I'll have to scooch my couplers around some but I have the room to do it.

That’s the way I passed with my previous car with an an IM and intake. Painted both flat black so there’s no bling in the engine compartment . I’ll probably do the same with a catch can when the time comes

How did you guys with supercharger install a Catch Can? I’m so close but yet so far :( I can easily get to the intake side of the PCV but can get the crank case. I have no room to even see let alone to attatch the new hose. I know I got to start pulling parts off like the supercharger colant tank but I want to make sure I’m not missing anything that could make this easier.

    Thanks!

So I went to install my catch can today and ran into something.

Catch can fittings have a 1/2" nipple, PCV and return fittings on the truck are about 50% smaller.
Not really a fan of the idea of smashing the hose with clamps to try to seal it. Even if it worked, I am far too OCD for hackery like that.
Should I try to find fittings for the catch can with smaller ports and run a smaller diameter hose?

    Any other suggestions are welcome.

The ADD W1 came with two different size fittings. Not sure which one you have but I have to agree with using adapters and clamps looks rough.

Find smaller fittings for the catch can.

You might be able to find a hose barb with 2 different sized ends, to convert the hose size, as an alternative.

I have the small Mishimoto one. Only came with one size fittings.

Dude! This might be the solution.
I was checking through my shed to see if I had any 90 degree fittings that would fit in the catch can and came across a bunch of various sized barbed fittings, some that couple together.

Going to have to look at that in the AM and see what I have to work with. Thankfully the catch can has NPT threads so I can probably find something.

Anybody know the inner diameter of the stock PCV hose?

That sucks unless you can source the right size fittings.

I took my blower off for an unrelated issue and got it hooked up before I put it back on.
Not that that answers your question but... Removing the blower isn't to chananging of a task.

I don’t remember the hoses being an issue. Getting your hand to the PCV, now that was an issue. Blood sacrifice was required.

I’ll admit taking off the blower scares me a bit, I’ll try removing the coolant tank first if that doesn’t help I’ll get my big boy pants on and take the blower off, will give me an excuse to paint the valve covers too lol!
