I am looking to make my shifter lights white instead of the orange. I have the automatic so I am talking where I shift gears, not the indicator on the dash. Could someone tell me which and how many lights I need as well as how to take that portion apart?

Its a bulb with an orange bulb condom on it. You will need to find an LED replacement that has a good light spreader on it otherwise you will end up with very bad hot spots. to get to it. remove the shift knob by turning it counter clockwise. then pull on the shifter surround. It is just held on by clips. then you will notice that the PRNDL piece is held on by snaps on the front and back. just pull up on them a little and pull it off. the bulb is removed from the back.

    VIET,

    Thanks for the Link!

.....but, any idea how to find out what an LED replacement would be? Part number or w/e?

EDIT: Just found out it's a 194/168 type bulb.

Anyone know where to find this type of bulb? I PM'd the guy who posted this picture but no reply.
