    Hmm very cool.

    Seems like alot of money to spend on boosting a 4 banger though. How practical is this in terms of hp gains, performance, ect with respect to price - compared to just upgrading to a v6?

    Would this make the 4 banger faster than the v6...?

    i think it was said in previous posts that a benefit with adding the supercharger to this 4 banger rather than getting the v6 is better fuel efficiency. you lose maybe 1-2 dd but if you can manage to not always have a lead foot your already that much more ahead of the v6 with fuel efficiency.

    if you have the 4 banger and want power, nothing going to work without the supercharger. thats how i see it. cool you can do intakes and exhaust with very minimal gains or improvements, add those to a supercharger and your talking better hp torque and even moreso responsive throttle

    I think I'm going to wait for URD's as well. Something just doesn't feel right about having to ship this kit from South Africa.

    Their new site has this information page here. Anyone heard of Perfect Power piggy-back units before?

    Considering how stout the 2.7 is and how long Toyota has been making it, I am surprised it has taken so long for a bolt-on forced induction kit to become available. Tear it up brothers!

    Hey guys new to the thread and stumbled onto this set up, sounds like a hot set up for the 4 banger. I do have a question , could you run this set up with a automatic transmission ? I was thinking on doing this at one point with a after market turbo and the guys told me they could not do the system with a auto transmission due to the ecu. Can you get by this being that it is a completely different induction system?

    @Riprun

    Not sure why they couldn't do it. Maybe the shop wanted to reflash the ECU instead of using a piggyback tuner which you can't do on a Toyota. I see no reason this would not work on an automatic.

    How'd the ordering process go? Did they give you an estimated time of arrival?

    Edit: Apline said in an e-mail i sent to day that the last of the discounted units would be bought by a dealer in Miami, so I snuck in an order ahead of them. Figured no time like the present to make the plunge, especially if it's cheaper! (The discounted price essentially makes the shipping from South Africa free)

    And for those who are interested, "Door to door delivery will take 4 – 5 weeks."
