    Well I did some research yesterday about the brakes found a great alternative to the front brakes if you have 17" wheels or are a 1st gen Tacoma.My conclusion will be to call a local brake shop that has been in the business close over 30 years and see if they can machine the front rotors and buy some EBC green stuff brake pads. Thanks to all who replied with useful knowledge. @Trident904 @NABeast, @Taco No Baka, @Rattletrap66 and @SpruceTaco .     The upgrade for the 2nd gen is actually a caliper upgrade from a 2003-2009 Lexus GX470 its a pretty good write up.

    Hahah. That requires removal of the wheels and removal of the spacer. Then beat the rust seal so I can remove the drum.

    So glad my next setup is dual piston calipers

    Don't think so. We were all on 35s and that trail was a challenge. Theres no way a Subaru would've made it up that trail.

    So earlier in the season that trail is actually pretty nice. At this point it’s so dugout it becomes a drag your nuts across-its face fest.
