They should change it from "Lets Go Places" to what you said. It's more accurate. :cookiemonster:

I read a post (maybe on TW) where a guy mentioned that he tore the rear of his truck apart, installed RAAMmat BXT and Ensolite on all surfaces, but still heard a lot of road and wind noise. He was disappointed that he spent so much money and time on sound deadening and got so little out of it. He thinks the noise is coming through the glass.

As an experiment, I currently have three king sized pillows and two comforters piled in the back of my access cab, and the noise has been reduced by maybe 20 percent, so it's sneaking through from somewhere else.

It's coming in thru the rear cab vents (2)... they are plastic flaps on the rear of the cab that allows air to escape when you slam the door, etc...!!
I've struggled with this as well.....

Here is what I did..!! See post #105.... Stopped some, but it's still noisy...... In the spring, I'm going in there again with some Dyna-Mat or something to add to it..!

Why the need to quiet the cabin? Is a good excuse to ignore the wife and to tune out her vocal noise.

Only Toyota looks at NVH specs and finds ways to make a vehicle louder, shakier, and clunkier.
