Actually, I'll probably end up getting a mini amber led lightbar in the future.

Anyone on here have any cool garage door opener setups? I'm moving into a new place soon and want to have a permanently mounted switch. I've seen the ones in the overhead console but I've already swapped out for the overhead temp display. Haven't seen many threads on this... Let's see what you got!

I read somewhere that a guy had wired his opener to his high beams switch. So to open the garage he just had to flick his high beams.

Really?!? Thats pretty badass... Ive been throwing around the idea of using the blutooth button on the right of the steering wheel since I never use it and they are just there wasting space... I think it would be a perfect spot for it

Let's twin it out again man! I mounted an air on board switch under my HVAC controls. Then called the company to have them send a blank switch cover. They do make a garage door opener switch though. I just wanted mine inconspicuous. Then follow this write up to connect to an opener. Easy peasy with no wiring to the truck unless you illuminate the switch.

Here's some info on it in our trucks. Also here's a brief description on how I did the swap. Sorry I didn't do a write up for that one.

Engine would die and cel and trac off lights would pop up. I could smell something electrical when I popped the hood, at that point I limped it in. Service dpt. is closed but the manager had no problem getting me the car. Dunno, will find out tomorrow. I'm one of the few fortunate ones with a GOOD dealer.

I know the feeling I love my service department. Hell they even gave me a detail on my dd for Christmas last year when it was serviced to suprise me. Good luck I hope nothing exspensive or at least under warranty or something.

I'd love to do something like that but just can't justify it when I still need so much with the truck and camper. Look good though

I would’ve bought the N-FAB bar but felt like the down tubes came down at too sharp of an angle. I emailed several local metal fabricators and this was the only shop that emailed back. But I like it, I think it’s gonna look great!
