I'll probably do it myself this summer when we get our shop built.

Here is a write up on installing an AAL which is about as good of a guide as I can find.

I'll be doing it myself.. the rear is a friggin piece of cake compared to doing the front. Have a friend who does suspension work for a living, so he'll be giving me a hand with everything. :woot:
The rear is basically removing some bolts, make sure you don't drop the axle to far and tear the brake line.. take out the old, put in the new, reverse the bolting process. :D

Hey geezer - if you are adding yourself to this list the most current list is on the previous page. The list on page one is out of touch for the moment. You would be number 14.

im sure this has been already answered but do they come with bushings? and also since they are 5 leak packs do i need to get longer u-bolts?

this seems like a great deal and my leaf packs are sagging. i have an extra pair that i got for free and want to mount those up but i need to try and get a mounting bolt that they could get out.

i wish i found this group buy sooner so i could try out that extra leaf pack i got.

    Yes they come with bushings

You do not need longer u bolts but it is recomended to replace them so you might as well get longer ones.

Is the extra pair OEM or some after market brand?

Well, the OEM pack is weak to start off, hence us replacing them with a higher quality pack. If you can get the new OEM's to work, they will probably improve the ride for a while, but will just go bad after another 60,000 miles or so and will be weak the entire time. I guess it depends on what you will be using the truck for though.
