Merry Christmas! We took an early trip this year (without the truck) and just returned, with what I'll posit is the most Tacoma-heavy trip report on TW. Holy Smokes, can I say that?

Curious? Read about the Tacoma Zone - 957 Tacoma's

(and there are many, many more where that came from - go read about it, you won't be sorry!)

That’s good to hear! I’ve read nothing but good about it for the price. It’s got a good torque range for our trucks.

Definitely. When I did research before buying, there was a overwhelmingly good opinion of it.
Yeah, I believe it damn near every non-in•lb spec needed for these trucks short of the crank pulley.

My only advice with it is to make sure you really tighten the tensioner at the bottom and check it after repeated use. It has a tendency to move up or down by 1 or 2. There is a hole through the tensioner which, I assume, can be used to tighten it more than you can by hand. I have never tried to do so, but it's worth a try. Or just check and correct after a few bolts. That's and the low # of ratchet teeth are my only complaints. All-on-all, excellent product for the price!

Cut the old ball joint stem off flush with ball joint body. Then flip your pressing tool over. Press right in the center with screw shaft of the tool.

I'm sure that you are well aware, but those aren't all Tacoma's... Maybe Toyota P/U Zone? :notsure:

Last time I removed the ball joints off the truck I just Thor’d it. Big sledge and some hard hits and it popped out. :notsure:

Yeah I was...., well we could just say that I woke this morning and found a case of Guinness cans around the place all empty. I thought I would practice for New year's!
