Nothing for me. Just needed to measure something he’s adding to a high clearance rear for a customer. Also took a couple other random measurements that customers have asked about on the sliders.

Yeah that's why I don't want a swingout. I like the way @HolyHandGrenade mounts his spare. If I had extra scratch I might have bought his carrier.

    o_O You quoted my link.

I think @Blackout14 either needs something custom, or a roof mount solution

You could fab something to hold it at the front of the bed against that rail? That’d still leave you enough room to sleep.

I meant the tires weight would still be supported by the floor of the bed, but you could fab something that just holds it upright (maybe ties into the floor with rivnuts as well?)

yikes that is no good, a swingout failure can be lethal on the highway...

spare on the roof of the cab is a major pain in the ass come the day you gotta put it up there and the day you gotta put the flat back up there after changing it out, getting it down isnt as rough with enough space can just drop it and chase it down if it rolls

I’m grinding away making calls on potential biz at my coffee table watching my wife her two friends and my almost 3 y/o have sushi for lunch.

Watching two kids is harder than work. Shit watching just one kid is harder than regular work
