If you have time, please post pics of the A pillar mod. I have considered doing it myself but wasnt sure I would like it. Would really like to see your results. Thanks. P.S. I agree, no two cans are alike. One of mine started to spit and run halfway through the can. The others worked fine.

Hmmm, A pillar or B pillar??? Maybe I'm wrong.

Look at the last post in this thread though:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/anyone-remove-the-b-pillar-vinyl-stickers-yet.420364/

    And here's the official thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/b-pillar-black-vinyl-wrap.395299/

I definitely like the look without it.

    Did a little something today...

    Installed my SDHQ A-Pillar Mounts

And then I messed around with some plastidip...

Not sure if it will hold up due to the heat but it’s worth it to try since it’s such a cheap mod. Now it goes with my other plastidip mods in my engine bay.

At the dealership for 10k mile service and having them do the TSB ID: T-SB-0273-17 for
squeaky leaf springs... I was the first one here this morning at 640am

My service dept guy is pretty cool. Truck wasn't squeaking this morning and my vin number isn't specifically listed... But they said they'll still do it. They had the parts on hand so no issues.

He also asked me if there's anything else I'd like done... I was like... Well... Can you take care of these too if possible..

    TSB ID: T-SB-0171-16
    TSB ID: T-TT-0364-15
    TSB ID: T-SB-0077-16

He said... Sure... If your truck hasn't had them done yet and they apply to your truck we'll knock them out as well..

Maybe he was just trying to keep me happy... Maybe they won't really do any of it... I'm giving them the benefit of doubt for now. We will see... I marked all tires, the oil drain plug, and closely inspected leaf springs and such before they drove the truck back.

Its now been 3 hours... I was told it'd prolly take 3-4 hours.. So hopefully soon, and hopefully everything that applied to my truck was completed.

Well believe it or not, there are some good service shops still out there. My dept has a great Service Manager. Service writers, not so much. I only deal with the manager who knows what I'm talking about because he owns, or has owned. a tacoma, tundra or 4runner. He also seems to know quite a bit about vehicles.

A couple different grille options i haven't seen yet... The left one is like the sr5 black grille but painted chrome/grey.

I'm not really a fan, just thought I'd share...

The grill on the left is a limited. I can see the chrome mirror caps and 18" wheels. It basically is the SR5 grill in chrome. Or the SR5 grill is the limited grill in black. However you want to look at it.

Yep it's a limited. But the grille actually looks more silver grey than chrome.. Like the silver sky paint color... There's also a silver sky limited that has the same grille painted MGM color. I guess for contrast.

The one on the right is a trd off-road 4x4.

5 hours later... I'm still waiting...

The grill is the same color as the blackish grey on the wheels.

Ok...finally.... They put silencers/dampeners in between my leaf springs, ran the transmission and ecu updates, and performed the 10k service. Everything looks to be actually done from what i can see... I'm happy..

Well, my Bakflip Revolver X4 arrived today and my VLED micros should be here in a day or two, but as I have no garage, everything is on hold until the weather cooperates. Did get to test out 4H on the drive home though! Worked great, even with stock tires.

Got a cap for it. Very happy with it, only part that looks pretty cheap is the third break light, it’s a bit crooked too so I’ll have to addresss that eventually.

Believe it or not I washed the truck before heading to get it installed, perks of living in salt-ario aka Ontario.
