I know this has been mentioned in a few threads here and there, but wanted to quickly share my experience regarding removal.

I started a small section at the bottom of the door. Front is easy, rear you have to push the weather stripping back to get a good start. Just get yourself a good grip on a small section and start pulling up a 45 degree angle. It's pretty tight, but just keep the peel going upward and you'll be done before you know it. Took me about 15 min for each side and left nearly no residue. The only residue was on the edge of the front door which rolled right off with your finger like a double sided tape would do.

There will be some that prefer to keep the black on the pillars, and that's great, but I think it dramatically improved the look of the cab showing the natural paint color instead. You don't have to worry about the vinyl fading or cracking years down the line and trying to take it off only to reveal 2 shades of white on the door. Enjoy.

Yes, only double cabs came with the wrap. ACs definitely look better without it.

The B-pillar is a common grab area when closing the door, so IMO it's better to leave the vinyl in place.

I actually prefer the chrome bumper on the back with the truck being white, but will be blacking the Tacoma emblems and grille.

The section between the 2 doors. I'm referring specifically to the part in between the windows where '16 Tacomas come with a black wrap in this area.

I'd figure the same however someone already posted pics of it being a huge fingerprint magnet that you would need to clean all the time.

OK the OP showed exterior pics and everyone said it looks better... ummm I can't see mine with the doors shut. My 2016 doesn't have any black vinyl on the exterior. Cant see why anyone would want to remove INTERIOR protection??

Must be a dealer installed item??? I have a 2016 TRD Sport double cab in metallic grey, it doesn't have the B-pillar blackout, nor does any of the folks that posted pics of the 2016 Metallic Grey. Maybe a white truck thing or OR version??
