New Grill-ideas

I am looking to replace my grill, I have a chrome one now with a billet insert. Bad thing, the chrome is not looking so hot, lots of nicks and places that appear to be hazed. I looked at the ones @ Auto Parts Warehouse, and I will most likely get it painted to match the truck.
Does anyone have ideas on other locations to check out, sorry I don't do the e-bay thing.

 

I bought three grills off of ebay. I didn't have any problems and they were cheaper than trying get one from a yard around here.

 

i just gave in and bought a sport grille straight from toyota. its pricey.....200 bucks if i recall correctly. but it matched PERFECTLY with my blue truck. just popper rite in took longer to get it out of box than to put on truck............ just a thought.

 

sport grill?? is that the same on the TRD 4X4. And what color was it?

That is one of the coolest grills I have ever seen.

 

I love the grillecraft and I bought the painted surround from a Sport to match my truck off ebay for $73.00. I love it.

 

Well I talked to the dealers around here, $372 for the silver grill.
So now I need to rethink the whole thing, may take the grill to a shop to see what a re-sand and re-paint to match the truck will cost.
My luck for the past few months has gone down hill, everything I have purchased off the internet has been wrong or just broke.
I think I will go hit the range....some stress relief needed.

 

silverback07, went to the web site and could not find it, what did you type in for a search. All's I found was bigger grills for Tundra etc.

 

ANY ONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM ? THEY SUPPOSINGLY FIT OVER THE ORIGINAL ?? THEY SEEM KINDA TACKY ?? WOULD LIKE A CHROME ONE FOR MY REG CAB , INSTEAD OF THE DARK GRAY ??

I bought a used black one on ebay, came off the entry level trucks, looks mint with the black headlight mod and black logo, $40

 

I was thinking of trying to paint my grille surround. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about it? I've tried the search function but haven't come up with much. The chrome grill surround drives me nuts, and would look much better painted to match my truck in magnetic gray metallic. I'd also like to get a grillcraft mx grill in black.

No, I want to paint it to match the MGM, like the grill surround on the sport. I'm just wondering where to buy paint to match, and what I need to get to apply it.
