    Hello everyone,

Anybody has Bilstein 6112s and 5160s on their Manual Tacoma?

How's the ride? I considering this set up. Heard so much positive things about this but curioua if I am going 2", 2.5" or 3" front and 1 or 2" rear.

What did you use to lift the rear? AAL or Block?
If AAL, how's the ride without any load from the bed?

What's the preferred notch on 6112s?
    How's the ride?

    I am looking at 265/75/16 AT3W...

    Any feedback will be appreciated.

 Hope it helps. By the way, good color choice on the truck.

Yeah. Reverse and 1st being close like that can be a bit tricky. I made that mistake a couple times in parking lots. I always park in 1st by habit and feel, but those times I left it in Rev because it felt right. I really don't know how I didn't notice the rear camera was still on when turning the key off. When starting, the stupid boot screens don't go away fast enough to offer a clue. Ha!

Thankfully, I was barely on the gas and stopped moving immediately

I don't see how anyone can mistake reverse for 1st on these trucks. It takes considerably more effort to shift into reverse than 1st.

Like I said in my case, it is the mistake of leaving it in Reverse when shutting down because it feels like 1st. Not a big deal, just something to remember to pay attention to.

It does require quite a bit off effort, plus there is an audible beep alarm, and naturally the back up camera too but I guess it's still possible to make a mistake although very unlikely.

I think the screen/beep is the more telling factor. It takes a bit more effort to push it to reverse yeah, but I wouldn’t call it considerable. After driving my Jeep around for a few hours I’ll be so used to slamming around the shifter like a teenage boy that hasn’t had alone time in a few days, I won’t even notice the extra effort if I put the Taco in reverse.

Have a 2012 v6 6sp MT, flushed the slave and res with fresh fluid while doing my stainless steel brake lines, made quite a difference. Old fluid was filthy, pedel was sticky when cold, noticable difference for the better!!
