Anyone have a DIY for disabling the DRLs. I'm not a fan of them.

Dont you just turn the headlight knob to "OFF"?

But when you’re driving you can’t see them, so what’s the problem?

DRL is the one Safety feature on today’s cars that I agree with.
Smith system of driving: “Make sure they see you.”
But I run with the headlights on all of the time. DRLs are off when the headlights are on. And it’s nice that they turn off when you shut down and open the door.

So the "off" position is the same as the "DRL" position? Did you buy your truck used?

My second gen has no DRL position on the switch. When the switch is off, and the truck is on, the DRLs are on.

my DRL's only come on when I turn it to DRL. That said, I bought some of the Jumper switchback LED DRLs that switch from white to amber when you put the blinker on. Just gotta figure out how to install the damn things

You can do what as well? I'm sorry, but it's hard to determine what the issue is without a thorough description or response.

I think early 2nd Gens do not have a DRL setting on the switch, unlike later model 2nd gens.

The MY12 I had did not have the DRL option on the stalk that the MY13 I moved into does.

Replace the 3 way harness and flasher on the back of the fuse block with the grey plastic jumper block and non DRL flasher.
