Put fresh boots on my passenger side CV axle, as well as a new seal on that side. Tomorrow will be the drivers side and the ECGS bushing.

Dynomat is more about suppressing vibration and resonance that blocking road noise, although it does help with that too. The cotton insulation and mlv will really be what gets the cab quiet. Anyway the difference between stock and what I've done so far is
#1 - sightly reduced road noise
#2 - tighter low end from those speakers as they're "sealed" into the door chamber now by covering the large holes in the inner panel. I realize it's far too big of a chamber for those little 6.5's but it's still noticable.
#3 - heavier doors that close with a satisfactory "Thud". Which might sound odd but it really makes them feel and sound like "quality" doors from a luxury vehicle.
#4 - the biggest benefit will be down the road when I install the amp + sub and everything is rattle free

Been putting together a roof rack and basket combo for 1 1/2 months from Craigslist buys. Finally put it all together last night and this morning. The cap has Thule 50” bars with TH460 foot pack and TH3101 fit kit. The front has 58” bar with TH480 foot pack and TH1511 fit kit. The wind deflector is 8 1/2”.

The rack is a Rhino Rack XTray.

Wife handed me this when I got home last night. 20180114_081353.jpgI was nervous opening the envelope since my wife worked in family law for 12 years doing divorces and child support. She used the same manilla envelopes the serve divorce papers to clients.

Installed the upgraded struts for my lift and painted my coils while they were off just testing the waters to see what color combo I want to go with.

I’m keenly interested to learn more about “telescope nights” and would be ever so grateful if you could tag me in a thread that you make about it.

I'm running a pioneer AVH-5800BS. However I have the factory JBL option so the speakers are powered by the JBL amp behind the rear passenger seat, not the head unit.

Got around to replacing a bolt I lost when I did my last spark plug change. Dropped somewhere and a month later I still haven't found it. It was the #2 stay bolt for the surge tank, m8x1.25, 20mm length.

I think a lot depends on your mindset-and need. I'm on my 2nd MacBook pro, 6th iPhone, Apple watch series 3, multiple email accounts and i do everything possible electronically, I hate paper. I'll be 56 this year.....but my jobs have used computers and technology since the late 80's, so I like to make my life easier if I can. Whatever you're comfortable with......
