You don't like the SOS or Mobtown options for the 3rd gens? The babysitting thing can be tough sometimes luckily/unluckily it's on a weekend I don't have mine.

    Meh, not really.

Mobtown has gotten enough of my money.

I kinda like the SOS full steel front bumper, but I just can’t get over how it cuts straight across the front grill - if it followed the lines of the grill I’d be all over it.

That is my beef with pretty much all the 2nd gen bumpers it cuts across the bottom edge of the bumper off but the ones that don't I don't like at all so I have to settle. I am doing the same with my armor though getting stuff from different companies of what I like/looks like it will preform the best for what I need it for.

You not happy with mobtown? expense?

    I just don't like Mobtown's bumpers.

I REALLY like this front bumper from Victory 4x4, see how it contours the front grill.

Also, I do like the SOS rear bumper that @Trident904 has, because it has the ability to still use the rear backup camera - the fit just doesn't seem to be as good as it could be around the taillights, the gaps seem to be quite large (designed this way maybe?)

I went and looked at the victory ones and I agree it looks really good for the 3rd gens. All the rear bumpers I've seen have gaps like that for the 2nd and 3rd gens. I think it's more of an ease of design and build thing than a pure design aspect. These companies don't have the $$$ to drop on a huge press to stamp out bumpers.

Matt - Check out @Proline4x4's bumper. I have it on mine. No cutting stock bumper required.

Those gaps are due to my shoddy install job. It's fixed now.

Look at the ATH bumpers in the 4 sale thread. Best looking bumper I have seen on a turd gen yet.

ATH shipping costs are insane. A buddy of mine got a quote and it was like $600 to ship to Florida. The ATH bumper for the 3rd gens will still be a straight across bumper that requires cutting the stock plastics. Between them, CBI, Pelfrey, Mobtown, Relentless, etc... the designs are extremely similar. C4 Fab and Proline are the only 3rd gen bumpers that don't require cutting and don't have the straight across the front look to them. Proline built my bumper and delivered 3 weeks from the date of order.

Ouch didn't know you had a fender bender in it. Damn that thread went for a shit show and people thinking they know what they are talking about quickly. There were a few knowledgeable guys in there with some sound advice/information. Good keeping your head on with that one. Pretty entertaining though.

Fender bender hell....that was $12k in damage. Jackass kid is still fighting with insurance on the medical part.

Hey, at least I got a sport hood out of the whole ordeal!
