Also added 5k HID lights into the low beams. Matches the LED DRL's very nicely. Not bad for $40

I left the fog lights at OEM for now. I don't like the really yellow fog lights everyone else seems to be buying lately, but I do like the 4300k look for the fogs. Eventually I will get LEDs for the fogs (cause I have LED's everywhere else besides the low & high beams).

My tweeter on the passenger side (or the surround on it) has been rattling for a while now, has anyone else experienced this?

 

Replaced my VanCulture Faux Pro Grille with an OEM Pro Grille today. Faux looked nice but found a good deal on a gently used OEM.

 

You wouldn't replace w/ OEM and paid the extra $ I wouldn't think if the faux one was up to snuff, I'd think? Aside from buying OEM for a decent price vs. knock-off what differences in quality do you see between the 2 since you've now had both?

 

Yeah it's a thing. There's a thread about it. Some people have broken off toothpicks into the edge of it to stop it from rattling.

I didn't tell me wife about them since she doesn't care and she's not the type that notices much when it comes to vehicles. So it was funny that first night night we drove with them and she asked "why do the lights look so bright?" LOL YES

Couldn't strop grinning that night.

 

Just added these orange rubber rings. They don't match the Inferno Orange color, but it still works for me.


I bought the 23mm diameter based off what others have said worked, but mine were just a tad too big and I needed to add some cut strips of electrical tape around the knobs before slipping the rings on. So go with

the method l used and has worked perfectly is to punch/push in on the A pillar really hard and see if you hear a small click. Worked for me.... no noise.

 

Relocated my subwoofer control knob to just behind the cup holder

 

I put felt under the offending clip...then just cranked it anyway! Works through one cold winter so far...it is a "thing". Get a passenger to press on the 4 corners of the housing until you find the one the stops it...for me it was the left front corner (of the right tweeter), then either get the dealer to fix it (under warrantee after all) or as mentioned by the above search the thread. Worth fixing as it was as annoying as fingernails on the chalkboard during finals!

 

The Noico sound deadening will not make much of a difference unless you do the whole door. One package for me did all my doors. It is a bit more of work but well worth it. Check out my pics on my album page

Yeah, it's kind of a personal preference thing. I did my whole door (all 4) on the last truck and honestly, I didn't feel like doing it again. It's pretty 50-50 on DIYMA dot com.
