Spot on, screw saving to retire. You might not live that long or a nursing home will steal it from you.

I have that covered pretty well. I like toys. Can't play with toys when you are too old or too dead to enjoy it.

Once my initial purchase of lights got stolen and vandalized it put me off the idea of adding more lights. I really like the switch pro. I think it has amazing build quality. I'm just not sure I want to hassle with it. I also had to mount mine to the top of my fuse box which I didn't like. Maybe a 3 switch panel would be best.

Rigid D2 Hyperspots... It made me mad because the truck looked really slick with them. I am currently trying to design a theft proof ditch light setup. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep my wires and lights protected.

Working on it, but really there’s no way. I’m planning on those arb intensity, and in the back of my head I’m already upset at the person who steals them. Even if you managed to weld the fasteners to the bar of someone wants them, they’ll get them. My suggestion to you is just run what you like and take certain precautions. Sometimes shit gets stolen, you can’t let that get in the way of your build.

This would deter a lot of halfass attempts. But the determined guy with the right shit will just zip though most mounts in less time it would take to monkey fuck your way around the fasteners. I think security fasteners and strategic parking are the best bet in this war of attrition.

The deal is the lights mount to a bracket from two screws in the sides of the light. Then you mount that light bracket combo to the ditch bracket attached to the hood. You can weld the RI bracket to your ditch brackets. You still have the screw and nut that your light uses to mount to your ditch light bracket. You could spot weld to prevent the nut from being loosened. You still have the screws in the sides of the light to somehow secure.

You could fill in the fasteners, for example, fill in the Allens that mount the light itself to the bracket. But that’s gonna be more of a pain in your life than the thief’s.
