I have a Mile Marker winch and the solenoid box is meant to be mounted on the side of the winch, but I used a piece of angle bent metal and drilled through my solenoid box with self tapping screws and mounted it up to my bumper, looks awesome

Thanks for the feedback! All your trucks look great!

    To address a few concerns:

RE: Fairlead holes - the WARN roller style fairleads use a 7/16 bolt, whereas the Hawse style use a 3/8 bolt, which is what our bumper is drllled for. So you can either drill the hole out larger, or just use a 3/16" bolt.

RE: Angle of bumper (inconsistent gap) - there is some adjustment depending on how many washers are used under the frame rails. Also, be sure to tighten down the forward facing bolts first.

RE: Solenoid bracket - we are in the process of developing a universal bracket. I know that doesn't help those of you who got one now, but if you still need one in the future, let us know and we should have something available soon.

Also, we will look into updating/clarifying our instructions. Sorry for any confusion.

No front sway bar (does that count?)
When I installed mine I tightened lower 2 bolts first to bring the bumper upwards towards the fender but left them just loose enough for the front 6 nuts to bring the bumper inward. Everything aligned pretty well. You could possibly loosen all of them just enough and try that. I also used a tap and die set to clean all the powdercoating out of the threads on the center section which made it easier to thread the 2 bolts in. Mine didn't line up too well either but cleaning the threads helped a lot. Good luck.

I noticed the bolt size for the warn is larger but my concern is that the hole center-to-center distance is 10-3/16" and not 10". will just have to drill a little bit.

When i put the pieces of the bumper together i had to put all the bolts through the holes with the nuts very loose then gradually tighten everything down. same thing with mounting to the car. this will probably help everything fall into place better.

Thanks for the advice! I'll try and mess with the lower two bolts and washers myself when I get some time and see if I can get the alignment to improve. If not, I'll take the bumper off and redo it when I'm down at my folks place in mid-May and also try to get the remaining two bolts in by loosening up all the others first.

I have a problem with the angle of mine also. Although, I think I have mine bolted together incorrectly anyway.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/all-pro-off-road/87646-ap-bumper-install-help.html

I got all the bolts in all the holes (took some work), but I was thinking that if I reinstall it the correct way, then it'll correct the angle?

Or how about adding washers on the top bolts where the bumper is connected (IIRC, they have 3 bolts on each side). What if I put washers on the top bolts to kind of create an angle back upward?

Also, will the light bar fit Hella 700s? (~8.5"). Or is that .5" too big?

Are those the Hella 700ff lights? Is there a way to mount the covers on upside down on the light, so that it faces upright?

Not sure but the gap may go away if you took off the two bars that go from the lower bumper mounts back to the lower control arm area.

Are you talking about the two angled bars for the stock skidplate? Hmm...I didn't know these were supposed to come off.

FYI, I had a wicked squeaking noise coming from my front end. It turned out to be the AP bumper rubbing on the bars for the stock skidplate when I went over bumps. I added another washer on the driver's side and it went away. It also lowered the bumper a bit and somehow fixed the angle of the bumper at the fender. Its not perfect but its good enough.

Yea that whole stock skid and bars assembly should have to come off... in fact I'm surprised you got the bumper on at all with it...

my instructions didn't say to take those off, so I left them on. The bumper was easy to put on, but it does make noise hitting them. I may go the washer route because I'm not too sure I want to take them off.

Thanks! I love the look it has now. I live only a few miles from the Southern part of the Adirondack state park in NY so the lights come in quite handy plus I'm a sucker for over kill.

+1 I didn't know they were supposed to come off. I don't think it even called for the skidplate to be removed. We tried to get it to fit but I read on this forum that it wouldn't without cutting so it finally had to come off :(
