Can intermitten wipers be put on a 2008 Tocoma that only has two speed and mist on the control lever?
What is the cost of doing this and how involved is the installation?
Is this a do it yourself project or is help needed?
    Thanks

and if you love that, you can also add cruise control for about same price if you don't have it.

Where do I get the parts needed to switch the wiper control to intermitten, and is there a part number?
Also what is plug and play for installing the wiper control?
Do I need to have this done at a shop or can I do it myself?

Toyota Dealer is where you get your parts. I will look for the part numbers. I have the cruise control # if you need them. Yes it is very easy, just disconnect battery and then its two screws to remove the air bag. Then two screws to remove the wiper stock

I just bought the switch Toyota # 84652-04141 on E-Bay for $125.00 and $11.25 shipping.

It's listed as Toyota Tacoma 2005-08 Wiper Switch w/ Intermittant #84652-04141

Musta gone up about 30.00 or more. IIRC, paid about 90 and change shipped.

If it rains regularly where you live, adjustable intermittant wipers are nice. It has about 6 speeds of intermittant instead of 1. Saves a lot of hitting mist.

Need directions for installing intermitten wiper control on steering colume.
Replacing two speed controler and need set of instructions for removal and new installation.
I have new part already just some directions for it would be a great help.
Or where to get book with pictures of installation.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

To my disappointment, my 2013 Tacoma did not have intermittent wipers and I did not discover this until the first rain.

Toyota offers two different intermittent wiper switches. The only difference between the two is the picture on the stem. I used part number 84652-02710.

It took me less than 10 minutes to switch out the parts thanks to Roland from Rhode Island, who posted his experience changing out the part. He was right on with his instructions. It took me less time because I omitted the beer.

Oh, with tax, the part was $168.28. The dealership was going to charge about $120.00 to change the part. Don't waste your money.

This is the link I used to install the switch:
